Don Churro Cafe is a hidden gem located in Chantilly, Virginia specializing in authentic dishes from Peru. Named one of the region's Best New Restaurants by Northern Virginia Magazine, Don Churro Restaurant presents delicacies from the expansive dinner menu, such as ceviches, lomo saltado, aji de gallina, seco de cordero, arroz chaufa, tallarines a la huancaino con lomo saltado, jalea, leche de tigre, and the list goes on...Homemade churros piped full of manjar blanco (caramel) or delicious nutella are sprinkled with powdered sugar for good measure. To ensure the quality of our food, all dishes are cooked to order using the freshest ingredients. The chef uses canola or olive oil in all of our dishes, organic coffee in our specialty coffees and recycles all its cooking oil.

Really good Peruvian food here. My Peruvian style paella dish was delicious (had a really good mix of seafood). The waitress was kind and patient enough to accommodate my wife with a custom dish they didn’t have in the menu. My wife was feeling a bit down and didn’t really know what she wanted and so the waitress helped her with making a dish (grilled chicken, rice, cheese, beans, and sweet plantains). I imagine since the place was pretty empty and slow at the time since it was in the early afternoon, they had the time to make that accommodation for us. Either way, really nice of them to have done that, I was really impressed. Oh and her dish looked really good.

I go with my wife to this lovely place from time to time! This is my favorite place to grab a bite. I visit this place regularly. The meals are excellent, the crew is professional and the prices are reasonable. I like being in this spot for a good lunch.

Restaurant was clean n renovated. Main dish was ok. Desert ( churro) wasn’t better than $1 churro from Costco which costs more than 5 times. I mentioned that I want my desert after meal but the lady brought it out with main dish anyway. And I ordered churro mixto? But churro nutella came out. Asked for the spoon for rice but she gave me the tiniest condiment spoon. Can’t communicate at all.

Amazing food that I found "by accident" while searching for a place to eat that wasn't franchise food. Being from NJ, I am spoiled so this was a nice change of pace. The empanadas are a lot bigger than the traditional ones I am used to. Their seafood dishes are amazing. (see pics) For dessert I opted for the dulce de leche churros. Parking is a non-issue. On weekends, they have different things going on, so get ready to dance if that's your thing.

Oh my.... If I want to order the taste of butter I'll just melt a stick and drink it with a side of salt. Horrendous. I feel sick just eating a little it's gross. I spent $80 on 3 things through Uber eats mind you so it wouldn't be that much if you would pickup but don't waste your money or health because 🤮

I have a terrific time dining here. Food is pretty good but the big time for me is that they have Pisco at the bar for Pisco sours. On my second visit to Don Churro on my birthday I brought fresh nutmeg, bought them a micro planer from Williams and Sonoma, showed them how to make meringue and ever since they let me make my own Pisco Sours.

The food was delicious and the portion were excellent. Ms. Laura our server was very nice and professional. She answered all our concerns and always with a smile. Great food and beautiful place.

The menu has a lot of potential, but the experience was disappointment. The beef soup was more a pasta soup, and the empanada was dried, reheated (not fresh) so much the juicy inside was gone.
